온라인바카라Suwon Samsung announced on Wednesday that it has acquired defender Kim Joo-won, an 11-year veteran of the Korean Football League (K League), from Jeju United to strengthen its second half of the season. The defender wears the number 66 and has a contract of one year and six months.
Kim joined the team’s training on the 21st after completing a medical test on the 20th. Player registration is expected to be completed today.
Kim made his K League debut with the Pohang Steelers in 2013 after graduating from Pocheol Technical High School and Youngnam University. He went on to play for the Jeonnam Dragons and Jeju, recording four goals and three assists in 138 career appearances.
A central defender who is known for his delivery and aggressive interpersonal marking, Kim has the versatility to play right fullback as well. He is said to have a strong tactical understanding, as well as a dedicated sense of responsibility and leadership, having been coached by Kim Byung-soo during his time at Youngnam University.
Suwon hopes that Kim’s arrival will help address some of the defensive anxiety that has been a problem this season.
“I’m very excited to join the team I’ve admired since I first started playing soccer as a child. I’m especially happy to be reunited with coach Kim Byung-soo,” he said. “The situation is not easy right now, but we will definitely rebound with courage with Frente Tricolore on our backs.”
