LIV Par Anser leads Saudi International for three consecutive days… Kim Young-soo 41st

Abraham Anser (32, Mexico) took the lead for three days in a row at the PIF Saudi International (total prize money of $5 million) before the opening of the Asian Tour. Among Korean players, Kim Young-soo (34) recorded the best score.

In the 3rd round of the tournament held at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club (par 70) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the 4th, Anser recorded 6 under par 64 strokes by catching 6 birdies without bogey.

Anser, who recorded a total of 17 under par and 193 strokes over the three days, took the lead by beating second place Cameron Young (USA) by two strokes. Matthew Wolf (USA), Lucas Herbert (Australia), and Sadom Kaewkanchana (Thailand), who tied for third place, are ahead by five strokes.

Anser won his first career victory on the PGA Tour at the 2021 World Golf Championship (WGC) FedEx St. Jude Invitational, and last year moved to LIV Golf, sponsored by the Saudi Arabian Sovereign Wealth Fund (PIF).

The Saudi International, which is being held as the opening game of the Asian Tour, is also the title sponsor of the PIF, and a large number of LIV golfers participated to raise the world rankings. This is because LIV golf is not recognized as an official tournament where world ranking points are given. LIV Golf will start its opening game in Mexico on the 24th. 메이저사이트

Young, the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year in the 2021-22 season, participated in this tournament with special permission from the PGA Tour, and reduced 5 strokes in the 2nd round to stand alone in 2nd place (15 under par 195 strokes).

Wolf, Herbert, and Kaew Kanchana tied for 3rd with a total of 10 under par 200 strokes, and Jason Cocrack (USA) ranked 6th with a 9 under par 201 strokes.

Kim Young-soo, who won the Korea Professional Golf (KPGA) Korean Tour grand prize and prize money last year, tied for 41st (3 under par, 207 strokes), the highest among Korean players. In the third round, Kim Young-soo made 3 birdies and committed 1 bogey, scoring a 2 under par 68.

Moon Gyeong-jun (41) and Park Sang-hyun (40) tied for 45th (2 under par, 208 strokes), and Lee Tae-hee (39) tied for 55th (even par, 210 strokes).
