‘I don’t mind losing streak.’ Men’s professional volleyball Hyundai Capital added a valuable 3 points and a multiplier in the home room.
Hyundai Capital won the 2022-23 Dodram V-League KB Insurance home game held at Cheonan Yu Gwan-sun Gymnasium on the 12th with a set score of 3-1 (25-19 23-25 25-16 25-20).
Hyundai Capital overcame the previous defeat (2-3 loss) in the Korean Air match and kept second place with a victory that day, and became 13 wins and 7 losses (40 points). KB Insurance started to challenge for a winning streak, but was caught by Hyundai Capital and stayed in 6th place with 6 wins and 14 losses (18 points).
For Hyundai Capital, the offensive triangle did its job. Oreol (Cuba) scored 23 points, the most for the two teams combined, and Heo Soo-bong and Jeon Kwang-in scored 17 and 13 points, respectively, leading the victory. Middle blocker Choi Min-ho also played an active role with 13 points including 9 blocks.
In KB Insurance, Viyena (Spain) posted 19 points, Hwang Kyung-min and Hong Sang-hyuk 16 and 10 points, respectively, but their team lost.
Hyundai Capital took the initiative. At the beginning of the set, Oreoll and Heo Soo-bong took the lead, leading to 12-7.
KB Insurance also started chasing and caught up to 15-16 in the middle of the set with Viyena at the fore. However, Hyundai Capital scored consecutively in the order of serving Lee Si-woo, who entered the court as a one-point server, and Oreol’s blocking was added to beat it again with a score of 19-16.
KB Insurance also fired back with Hwang Kyung-min’s serve score. However, Hyundai Capital seized the set victory by running away 23-18 after Oreol’s quick open and Choi Min-ho intercepted Villena’s attempted attack.
Following Heo Soo-bong’s spike, Choi Min-ho served as an ace to finish the match. KB Insurance did not sit still.
The match was balanced by winning the second set. KB Insurance successfully outperformed Hyundai Capital’s pursuit in the second half of the set.
KB Insurance took the lead by 18-11, but Hyundai Capital narrowed the score to 21-22 thanks to the continuous scoring of Jeon Kwang-in and Heo Soo-bong and Oreoll’s attack. However, for KB Insurance, Viyena played the role of a solver in the set. 먹튀검증
Viyena was responsible for both the last two points, and KB Insurance recovered the set. However, Hyundai Capital took the 3rd set and took the set lead again.
Unlike the previous two sets, this set was decided early. Hyundai Capital ran away until 16-11 with Choi Min-ho’s quick attack following Oreol’s spike in the middle of the set. He maintained a good flow in the second half of the set.
Following Heo Soo-bong’s quick open, Jeon Kwang-in succeeded in serving as an ace and went out with a score of 19-13. In the second half of the set, following Park Sang-ha’s open attack, he tied the opponent’s room and ran away 22-14, solidifying the set victory.
In the 4th set, KB Insurance took the lead in the early stages. However, Hyundai Capital narrowed the score with height and succeeded in reversing without being shaken by Oreoll and Heo Soo-bong attacks. In the second half of the set, Choi Min-ho blocked the opponent’s attack twice in a row and ran away 22-18, breaking KB Insurance’s will to pursue.
