Manchester United are moving quickly ahead of the summer transfer window. After Napoli defender Kim Min-jae, the Red Devils plan to sign Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane as soon as possible.
“United have prepared an early bid for Kane to avoid stiff competition,” the Daily Mail reported on July 25.
Kane is Tottenham’s most decorated England striker. He has scored 278 goals in nearly a decade with Spurs. His 211 Premier League goals make him the second highest scorer of all time.
Even this season, with his team struggling, he has 28 league goals, second only to Manchester City monster striker Elling Holland.
However, his trophy haul pales in comparison to his personal record. Kane hasn’t lifted a single trophy with Tottenham, as the club has been winless since winning the League Cup in 2007/08.
He did his part this season, scoring the most goals in the team. However, Spurs were once again unsuccessful in all competitions as they were knocked out early.
Kane still has one more year left on his contract, but he’s faced with a choice: stay loyal to Spurs or find a new path to winning.
United moved quickly to sign Kane. They prepared an early bid to prevent further competition from emerging, such as Paris Saint-Germain, and to prevent an unnecessary transfer saga.
Meanwhile, United are also reportedly keen to make a move for Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae as well.
“With PSG joining the race for Kim Min-jae, United are keen to finalize a deal sooner rather than later,” the Sun recently reported.메이저놀이터
One of the key players who led Napoli to their first league title in 33 years this season, Kim has developed into a big defender who is highly sought after by a number of clubs. The likes of PSG and Manchester City have been keeping tabs on him, as well as United.
The Red Devils have offered £7.6 million for the player and hope to finalize the deal around July, when Kim will be undergoing military training.
If United’s plan to go all out in the transfer market is successful, we could see Kane and Kim play together next season.
